I hope she knew what she was buying...

If I get food poisoning.... this is the reason why!!!...
Hungry... and lazy to head out for a meal...
Had to "hunt" for food in the fridge...

Found some chocolates left... think it was a gift from Wifey's friend who came back from overseas... and I'm guessing, a country which doesn't use English as a first language...

Well... I sure hope she knew what she was buying....

Why?

Wish wifey had kept her mouth shut

All couples in a relationship (married or otherwise).. will understand this.. sometimes you just wish your other half had kept his/her mouth shut.. be it wife/girlfriend or husband/boyfriend...

The below was one such incident when I wished my Wifey didn't talk so much...

We had dinner at Jurong Point and we were just walking around when we walked past a stall selling egg tarts...

So this time round in Jakarta.. it was the same thing...
Went to a local shopping mall...
How local?...
Look at the last pic...
The cleanliness level is not for the faint-hearted.. to put it mildly...

Beijing 101 - Local Food!

One of the must-do things for me when I travel is always to try the local food!...
So it was no different when I visited Beijing earlier this month...

After visiting Forbidden City... (a must-visit!... but will blog abt it later... MUCH later coz there're lots of pics....)... I went searching for food....

This shop caught my eye...
Looked local enough...
Unfortunately my Chinese isn't so good...
Totally regret not studying harder for it in school...

After checking the directory..... we found the all natural rock candy store.. it is just beside OCBC bank..

Seremban, Malaysia Holiday Part 3

What to do in Seremban, Malaysia? Here is the final entry on it..
Check out

Visit to Seremban, Malaysia - Part 1

Here are the pics again...
What else?... But more food....

The original place that Michael wanted to bring us to for beef noodles wasn't open...
Then he told us the Dad of the boss has a shop at the market Pasar Besar Seremban (which translates to Seremban's Big Market)...

We decided to head there and I'm glad we did...
Been a while since I went to a "real" market in Singapore...
These wet markets are fast disappearing in Singapore...

Visit to Seremban, Malaysia - Part 1

Visited a friend over the weekend in Seremban, Malaysia.
She gave birth back at her hometown and is doing her confinement there.
Took it as a short get-away holiday vacation as well to explore Seremban, Malaysia.

Check out the baby pics
Elysha - Congrats to Mummy Lu Ee and Michael!

This is the hotel that we stayed

Time Hotel - Seremban, Malaysia
A pretty decent place.
It looks clean with all the facilities working perfectly fine.
Don't expect much but it is only RM$90 a room a night.
That's about only SGD$19 per pax.

After checking in, we paid our friend a visit at her place.

Legend of the Seas Review - My Royal Caribbean Cruise Adventure

As you should know by now... Wifey and I were selected to tour Legend of the Seas from Royal Caribbean International through Omy
(from my earlier entry My Royal Caribbean Cruise Adventure - Behind the scenes)

As I was brain storming about what to write for this entry...
(Check out Wifey's Post on it at http://barefootgirldaynight.blogspot.com/)
I decided to ask a few people...

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of a cruise vacation?

Old School Delights @ Upper Thomson

Ended up at Old School Delights (OSD) with Wifey when the initial plan was to go to Triple 3. Because your friend here forgot to check his expiry date of the discount Eat@Meritus card (which came with the OCBC Titanium card) which has a one-for-one offer for Triple 3.

It was really expired! (unlike my "expired gym membership")

So after trying to find another place to go to... We finally decided on Old School Delights- It's recess time! located at Upper Thomson.. So here is the "review"...

We first read about OSD in some magazine previously and just didn't get down to visiting.. So finally.. we were there! And I probably enjoyed it more than if I were at Triple 3.. (though Wifey may disagree haha...)
