Gaining weight is not my fault!

I finally found out why I've been gaining weight...
It is not my fault and it has NOTHING to do with the lack of exercise... I'm sure...


Wifey found out why from "Your pregnancy week by week" book that she has been reading...

Sometimes listening to your wife could save your life!

Had to find a way to exercise and burn off some fats... especially since my back got injured...
Soccer (my first love) is more or less out of the question... jogging strains the back as well...
So far rock climbing has surprisingly proven to be quite ok on my back.. less pounding and impact I guess.. (or the painkillers are working really well....)
And... it is far cheaper than wakeboarding!

Managed to CON-vince Wifey to go with me for the course and got my friend to join in too....


Have been climbing a few times since and we are still very safety conscious...
We have to cross-check to make sure everything is in order....


The first time we climbed after the course... during the cross-checking...
Wifey found something amiss with my "double-8" knot....
The knot you use to tie to your harness.. which could save your life....

Reminder to self:

Ben the Wanted Man?!

Went to JB with a few colleagues a few nights ago..
It was a weekday night.. it was already later than 11pm...
Still there were many cars...
All don't need to work the next day?...


All insurance agents?!....


Anyway.. on the way back..
The traffic was SUPER SLOW.. even though there were not that many cars... They seemed to stop letting cars through and were doing very thorough checks as though there was some operation going on...


So I got a shock when it was my turn at the immigration...




Immigration Officer: "Eh.. this picture doesn't look like you.."
















I got a shock..
Am I like a wanted man in their operation?..
What did I do??!!...

URBAN HOMME - Urban Icon Challenge

Today was the audition..

Though quite an informal set up... there were I think at least 7 people in the small room.. SEVEN!!!

There were photo taking and video taking!!

Feels like some sort of manhunt pageant!!

Luckily I don't have to see 7 people stab their eyes blind with the pens by seeing me in a teeny weeny yellow swimming trunk or wishing they were born deaf if I had to sing!

It was basically just a question and answer session..

So how did I do?
