Old School Delights @ Upper Thomson

Ended up at Old School Delights (OSD) with Wifey when the initial plan was to go to Triple 3. Because your friend here forgot to check his expiry date of the discount Eat@Meritus card (which came with the OCBC Titanium card) which has a one-for-one offer for Triple 3.

It was really expired! (unlike my "expired gym membership")

So after trying to find another place to go to... We finally decided on Old School Delights- It's recess time! located at Upper Thomson.. So here is the "review"...

We first read about OSD in some magazine previously and just didn't get down to visiting.. So finally.. we were there! And I probably enjoyed it more than if I were at Triple 3.. (though Wifey may disagree haha...)

The Ordering Process at OSD

Doesn't it feel like Wifey is back in school studying and revising for exams?

You have to look through the "Notes" (menu)...
And write down your "Answers" (orders)...

The menu states that they do not use MSG... Big PLUS!...

Wifey settled on Hainanese Style Chicken Cutlet Fried Rice
While I settled on Laksa

The Chicken Cutlet Rice - The Fried Rice was so-so to me.. but Wifey loves it as it reminded her of the Fried Rice she used to have in Primary School..
The chicken cutlet we could both agree on... SUPER YUMMY with the SAUCE!!..

The Laksa - It was pretty decent.. as it is supposed to be a healthier and "lite" version.. After finishing it.. I didn't feel "gelak" (?) like you usually will... (But then again.. it's not fair to them as I compare it with the out-of-the-world laksa at Bt Timah Plaza...)

The highlight of the meal..

Dessert

The Fudge Ugly Choco-Banana Cake

Looks yummy!

Empty Plate

I think it is a great place to hang out with friends...
The decor and the Top 10 OSD list brings back memories...
And the best of all...
It is a place that you can be yourself..
We felt comfortable moving around taking pictures...
and the co-owner Olivia (it's a brother-sister set up)... is super friendly...

That's Olivia
Best of all...
The MOST important to me...
Value for money!!

Very Reasonably priced.. Our bill?..

The meal + the drinks + the dessert = $22.70!!

Exact Location: Old School Delights, 215M Upper Thomson Rd

If you visit, tell Olivia you read about it here..
At Benjamin and Michelle's blog Haha...
